Summer's Splendour

I wish for summer's sunny days to come and visit me
So I can play in meadows green
Or splash around in the turquoise sea

I wish for cotton candy clouds to drift along the blue sky
I wish for sizzling barbeque and cold ice cream too

I wish all my friends would play
And sing along on that sunny day

We'll all run to the beach
To have fun in the sun
And climb tall trees out of reach

Lie back on freshly cut grass and look up to the sky,
Summer sunshine warms my face as butterflies fly by
