Our sporting greats they come and go,
From all around the world.
With different colour to their skin,
They watch their flags unfold.
From city clubs with sponsors help,
Our country clubs feel poor.
They meet someone that plays the game,
To even up the score.
Our football great is Darren Lockyer,
He's country born and bred.
The greatest player of the game,
He's leaps and bounds ahead.
But all the clubs that play the sport,
The Bronc's loom tough and tall.
With Locky teaching by his skills,
The greatest of them all.
So let us stop and think awhile,
How lucky we must be.
That we are part of this great land,
Where all the men are born and free.
Freedom is a cherished gift,
That we must never loose.
A fight that we must always fight,
The right to pick and choose.
Now if by chance the Broncos,
Are beaten by another team.
Let us charge out glasses,
And wake up to find it is just a dream.
