They pitch the ball and you swing hard,
Take your base 'cause you hit hard.
Now you pitch, you strike them out,
The crowd goes wild and starts to shout.
We're in the lead five to ten,
We're gonna win this thing all over again.
In the newspaper and on the news,
The other team wishes they were in your shoes.
Come on Cubs, you're number one.
Your history is worth a ton.
