I love you dad, I want you here
even though you're not very near

I like the way you really care
even though your not really there

If you love me the way I do
come back down and will talk it through

I love you dad even though your dead
I think about you every night when I lay in my bed

I'm trying to grow up the way you'd want me to be
I'm trying to make you proud of me

Dad it's time for me to go
I love you is what you should know
