Please don't cry dad, I didn't mean it
All I wanted was for you to proud
To say I love you for who you are
But now it's too late
There's no turning back
I tried to warn you but you wouldn't listen
Why wasn't it enough?
Why did I have to be the best?
Now that I'm gone
There's nothing to care
Nothing to be ashamed of
Nothing to tear apart
I failed you daddy
I can see it in your eyes
Look at my scars to see how I sorry I was
Sorry I wasn't the child you always hoped I'd be
