The wind kisses your leaves
With a rustling sound
The cool autumn air
Makes them fall to the ground

Your lonely branches glisten
Where the sun meets the snow
You tower about us
With your wintry glow

The world grows warmer
The snow begins to melt
New buds are forming
Your beauty is felt

The summer is scorching
But your leaves are still green
The heat affects everything else
But you still seem serene
