When will there be a day where I don't cry?
When will there be a day where the sun will shine?
Everyday since then I wish I could just die
I wish you would be here so things would be fine.
We were friends before they took you away
You accepted me when no one else dared.
Why couldn't they just let us be kids and play?
You befriended me, you actually cared.
When they closed the caset and laid you to rest,
I knew this test would be the hardest yet.
I tried to keep from crying, I did my best.
I grew and loved you even though we just met.
You will be my friend for eternity
In heaven, you wait patiently for me.
