As shellfish cling to jagged rocks
And waves return to the ocean
White sand glistens in morning sun
A dance in continual motion
As waves kiss the sun burnt beach
And rejected turn away
Seagulls squabbling cheerfully
Are gathered to the bay
Water streches endlessly
Blue jewels creep to the horizon
These waves bring life and also death
To this beautiful, windswept ocean
