The Rain
Clouds are gathering in the sky,
They’re making the world go grey,
The sun is gone now,
And it starts to rain.
The forest whispers, crocks and cries,
It’s alive with animals and insects all a daze,
They love the rain, the forest animals do,
It’s always cool, splashing in a pool.
The rains stopped, and the water goes,
Tricking back, to the big old blue,
Waiting for the sun to take,
A drink of water for the day.
