A girl named pearl

There once was a girl named Pearl,
who came from planet Earl,
she had a snail,
that lived on her nail,
who likes to jingle and whirl.
One day she took it to school'
and saw a big fat jewel,
inside it was purple and pink,
and the outside was very cool.
