Piping bird calls,
whispering leaves.
Sunlight glints through the forest roof,
while birds fly overhead.
Moist heat hugs the figure,
a glittering stream cuts through the land.
Leave.
Red brick houses,
gleaming emerald lawns.
Babies squeal,
tyres burn.
Exhaust fumes in the lungs,
graffiti in the eye.
