I woke up
Walked in the bathroom
Looked in the mirror
And all I could see was my hair!
Oh My Gosh! It was everywhere!
That morning I wished I were bald.
Because I surely was appalled.
What should I do? I asked my reflection.
It just wouldn't go in the right direction.
Before I go any further, I should tell you,
About my hair, if only you knew.
It’s just as curly
As that girl who’s named Shirley
It's redder than a fire truck
And it looks like I just got struck By a bolt of lightning
It's very frightening
It weighs a ton
But can be fun!
When I'm very bored,
I pray to the Lord
That my child doesn't get this hair
What a thought! What a scare!
