Red is the colour of love in full moon
Red is the colour of medicine on a spoon.
Red is the colour of anger and love
Red is the colour that flies like a dove.

Orange is the colour that grows on a tree
Oranges fresh and ready for me
Pumpkins growing out of the ground
Orange shapes sneaking without a sound .

Yellow is the colour of bright sunlight
Yellow is the colour of cat’s eyes in the night
Yellow is the colour of bitter lemons on a tree
Yellow is the colour of bananas for tea.

Green is the colour of envious greed
Green is the colour of watermelon seeds
Blue is the colour of seas and ice
Blue is the colour that makes me feel nice.
