I Knew There Was Something Strange About That Pumpkin!!!

There once was a young girl named Grace. She had a sister and her name was Lara and she also had a Mum and a Dad. Her parents owned a huge, healthy, strange veggie patch.

One afternoon, just before dusk, Mum asked me to go and water the award winning pumpkin and just when I got there I saw two people wearing balaclavas, running away with the award winning pumpkin. So I used the only fighting skills I knew to get the pumpkin back. When I did I watered the pumpkin and then everything just blanked out for awhile but after along time something magical happened. A weird lady who called herself my evil enemy, turned the pumpkin 20 times the size as it was before.

I came over to her, saw the pumpkin and nearly fainted, I thought, “Look at the size of that pumpkin, wait till I tell Mum and Dad the good news”. But then I realized that it wasn’t such good news.

Suddenly, there was a noise that sent a shiver down my spine. I heard it again and again and again and it became freakier by the second. It almost sounded like a witches laugh. I screamed at the thought it was coming from the pumpkin!

But then the pumpkin started chanting something like: “Hokes Pokes a maze to the sky that makes you go bye”. I thought that it didn’t sound too good so I started running, running for my life but I had no hope of escaping the veggie patch because it looked like the pumpkin had bought every evil spirit to the veggie patch.

Then I felt someone tapping me on the shoulder. I dared turning around so with a quivered voice I asked, “who are you?” The spooky creature answered, “I am your evil enemy from down the road”. I turned with fear, once again, ready to use the only fighting skills I knew once again but my evil enemy was too fast. She slapped me hard across the face then I fell unconscious. But after a long time in pain I heard the soothing sound of my Mother saying, “Gracie wake up you, must have fallen asleep in the veggie patch. How about you go and wash your hands and get ready for breakfast.” I did as my mother asked and when I looked in the mirror I saw a big red mark down the side of my face! That made me so scared I didn’t know what to think. So I made a promise to myself that I would never go in the veggie patch again unless I was with someone else, and I never did.

THE END!!!
