Karate koala

In the outback there is something
In a tree, in a cling.

A humble koala is what you'll see
Drinking his mild eucalyptus tea.

But this koala is very smart
To learn an old, ancient art.

This unusual art is koala self defense
So we shall not call him very dense.

He is the hero of the outback
So predators would behave and never shoutback.

He could stun vigorous snakes
By wacking them on the head and giving them shakes.

The animals will then cheer loudly with glee
While the battered snake slithers up the tree.

So if you ever see a koala hitting a snake
This poem may be fantasy or may not be fake.
