Ah,my dear Rosetta in your feathers white and black,
How I love to hear your beautiful song,it sends tingles down my back.
Every single other magpie has a mate but I'm alone,
I'd love for you to be my mate,Rosetta, all my own.
We would strut around together like perfect Englishmen,
While all would admire us till we flew back to our 'den'.
And then at last, we could have a dozen little babies,
Who would all grow up and become fine men and ladies.
So Rossetta, can you please enter my call?
This letter is from Hamish, please come with me to the ball!
