Rain

Gliding, glistening, goddesses,
Falling fast to earth,
The fall they do not asses,
In their eyes the world reversed,

In their wake,
Brown tidal waves,
Tiny lakes what they create,
Life to earth, what they gave,

Green giants and miniatures alike,
Rise up in welcoming and praise,
Their lives saved in my sight,
From the dead the people raised,

Down below havoc reigns,
Up above bookshelves loom,
In front a blank page, my mind in pain,
A poem to come, what will I do?
