Back to the fray

I enter back inside,
Back into the fray,
The time since I last entered,
Is many a night and day.

Old my practice has become,
Rusty from misuse,
But now I stand and say “no more”,
I stop all the abuse,

My soul is once at peace again,
Though times are still quite hard,
My wounded heart has healed once more,
Now it’s simply scarred.

So thanks to the tranquility,
Keeping my fears at bay,
I’ve decided once again,
To enter in the fray.
