A greater love

She was just an orphan girl,
Her hair was brown with a natural curl.
She was in the foster care,
She had to move here and there.
She had no permanent loving home,
She did everything on her own.
Then she looked up in the sky above,
And hoped someday that she'd be loved.
Finally, the day was there,
When she found a family that cared.
They adopted her, and told her of a greater love,
That came from God in Heaven above.
She believed of this love, and finally found peace,
And all her past sorrows started to cease.
Then she looked up again in the sky above,
For God gave her a family, and she was finally loved.
