Bang! I had landed back in time, my heart was pounding. There was a stampede of something, but what? I stepped outside of my time machine. Ahh! I had travelled back so far that I was in dinosaur time.

I stayed in the time machine trying to keep calm. It was the professor’s fault; he had given me the mission to test his time machine. I waited for the stampede to die down. I stepped out cautiously. It was over, but you cold feel the dust still in the air.

I could see several Pterosaurs faintly in the distance, flying around the mountain. I looked around the corner to see where they were heading. There was a huge nest with large eggs. Suddenly, I saw an egg crack. Then another, and so on and so on. A Stegosaurus came towards me. I ran into the machine, I locked the door and started to fiddle with the buttons, trying to fix the machine. The machine started to rumble around. I looked through the window; I was in the mouth of the Stegosaurus. He didn’t even chew me; he just gulped me down.

I was in his stomach, I had to get out. Suddenly I was thrown up the throat and into his nose, It must have been his nerves or something because he gave a gigantic sneeze. I was out and away.

The time machine spun around and the things in it all fell onto the buttons, setting it to another time. I flew into a building and crashed down on the road, butt it wasn’t exactly a road. It was a huge piece of stained glass. In fact, everything was made of different coloured stained glass. I looked at the screen; it was the year 2711!

I looked around to see if anyone could help me but there was nobody. Suddenly an alarm screeched, everyone piled out of the stained glass houses and started dancing. It was then I noticed something strange going on. The house had turned into a disco room with one big sparkling ball in the sky and they were dancing to the Bee Gees, “ha, ha, ha, ha, staying alive, staying alive”. Then I clicked onto why everyone looked so strange; they all had one eye. I had to get out of there!

Mum woke me up.
“Honey, you have to get ready for school”
It was only a dream. I turned on the radio….
“Ha, ha, ha, ha, staying alive, staying alive”
