It’s winter time and the farmers are crying out for rain.
The earth crumbles between the farmer’s rough hands.
He hangs his head and looks at the sun.
He wipes the sweat off his face and goes off to round up the cattle.
The cattle mourn, sadly for there is no food. The seed has germinated but there is no rain for them to be strong enough to grow.
The farmers go out and see nothing, but small, withered crops. He shakes his head in disbelief, he feels nothing but despair.
When summer arrives he will have no money to survive on his land.
Rain, rain, please come.
What will happen to the native animals.
What will happen to the natural habitat.
Rain, rain please fall on this drought-stricken land.
