How Do You Know When To Give In?

Is it when you have written so many pages,
but then your computer crashes?
Is it when you run so fast all your energy is gone,
but you still lose the race?
Is it when you climb to the highest peak,
but then slip and fall to the bottom?
Or is it when you give your heart to a person,
but are rejected with no explanation?
To give in is a weakness,
to show that you have failed.
To let the world win over you,
without putting up a fight.
But to give in gives you a reason,
to start something new.
To begin again and win this time,
and never give in again.
