3rd in the 'Watch Out! 2000' competition
Laughter and excitement aboard the ship,
That was laying on the crystal water.
Waves brushing against the ship.
It’s dark. Then there were clouds, dark!
Lightning strikes, buckets of rain fall down on the ship.
People screaming, crying, thinking that they’ll die.
Suddenly everything stopped, the storm was gone, except the clouds.
People were laughing, happy that it was gone, others not so sure.
Then it came back, worse than ever before.
The ship was rolling, tumbling, creaking.
People were screaming, praying as they ran
Trying to dodge the icy, smothering waves – gone !!!
The ship was gone and so were the people
Their screams had vanished – just like the ship
Never to be found again.
Silence was all around.
