Icy bergs rise high over the snow white land,
And beaches are of ice
Instead of soft, golden sand.
Half a year of darkness,
Half a year of light,
All the animals that live here,
Create such a magnificent sight.

Mountains and mountains of ice,
That will never melt.
Creatures such as seals,
And penguins have always dwelt.
Blizzards blow through,
All night and day,
Destroying everything in its way.
