3rd in the 'Calling All Poets 2007' competition
Red hair, freckles and knobbly knees,
I see him coming; it’s time to flee,
Into my bedroom and slam the door,
Cause now he's trying to even the score.
I didn't mean to dob him in,
But it wasn't me who set fire to the bin.
I really am tired of taking the blame,
But I must admit I enjoyed the flames.
I'm hiding here till he goes away,
He's got Barbie hostage-he'll wait all day.
She'll have to cope; I'm not coming out,
Whilst my pesky brother is hanging about.
