War In Detail

We are going to a war,
To end all wars,

All of us young men,
Brave yet frightened,
Never to be old men,

Many ladies lost darlings,
Mothers beloved sons,
Pray I never be killed,
By the enemies blazing guns,

Afraid we get abandoned,
On a foreign land,
Trying to get safe,
Out of enemies lands,

Dying in their millions,
Breaking wives, mothers, sisters hearts,
All of them,
Sacrificed so simply,
By leaders not doing their parts,

What about the foreign countries,
Those try to put us down?
We will say,

Peace will live forever!
No matter how it sounds!
