Electric Gratification

Like the storm’s elegant ferocity which causes life to cry in joy,
seemingly endless beauty starts with a smile,
passionate laughter and joyful coquetry.
Or so a young mind believes.
Such innocent ignorance and naivety is poetic bliss,
its consequences blossom into harmony.
The melody sweet to the ears, tasted by the eyes and seen with the mouth.
It is to be treasured.
Such altruistic adulation roots amnesty in hearts of the harshest.
Electric gratification through nerves,
words being touch and touch being words.
A wild beast to be cradled close to the breast,
share in trust that harm will not occur.
Such a delicate brutality among clouds is beyond comprehension
for those not caught in the storm.
