What do you see when you look at me,
Do you see your little girl or a distant memory?
Do you remember my name, do you remember my face?
As time moved on how quickly I was replaced,
Do I exist or am I a thing of the past?
It is hard to believe how the time has gone so fast,
I once had a father; it’s hard to believe,
But now I see a stranger looking back at me,
One day you’ll look back and regret not knowing me,
By then it will be to late daddy cant you see,
I needed someone but you were never there,
I needed you to show me you care,
I needed much more then you could give,
Oh how I wish I could forgive,
The time wasted, the memories lost,
You’ve got the life now daddy but at what cost,
The price you pay for leaving me,
Karma is a curse daddy just you wait and see,
As the tears roll down and I start to unfurl,
I realize I was never daddy’s little girl.
