Death, comes the marching sun,
Death, in the crashing waves,
Death, in the red and black flower,
Death, in darkness power,
Flickering flames leap high,
Sparks flash through the night,
Waves of red foam rise high
To fall crashing onto land,
Poppies bloom like a sea of blood,
Marking our deaths near,
Darkness recedes, into the night,
Just to descend again once there.
