Laura's Birthday

Hurry up! said Laura, It was Laura's birthday and laura was getting impatient because her mum was taking forever to make the hot chips.Finaly they were ready. "Ding Dong" the door bell went. Laura opened the door expected to see her friends, but oddley enough it was a Jamacian man standing their, holding a brightley coloured birthday present. The Jamacian said are you Laura? Laura said yes, and let him in. They sat on the couch and he explained himself. Laura got her mum and showed her to him. They were very surprised to see each other and started to have long deep conversaton. Laura sneeked into her room and picked up her mobile and diled her friends numbers and they didn't pick up she went to try again but they all still didn't pick up so she went back down stairs to see them talking again.Theirs somthing fishy about this guy Laura thought then her mum told her that he was her dad! She had forgotten that he had gone on a confrence in Jamacia! Thats why he was holding the present, Laura thought. Then her friends came and injoyed the party! THE END
