The grass sways, even without a breeze,
Winter flowers will surely freeze.
The animals criticize, although they never tease,
the dog ate the pies, without saying please!
The rocks are pegged, even without people,
The birds are fed, even without a meal.
The flowers grow, even without a sun,
the fox caught the chicken, even without a run.
Daffodils, baking in the sun,
Noisy drills, taking out all the fun.
The cows are tough, they can't eat enough,
the pigs are puffed, they emptied the trough.
The cat purrs, while I comb it's furs,
And I lie in the sun, the chores been done,
And wonder what else I can watch for fun
