A Christmas night in Australia (copy 2, the edited one)
No red gleaming slay tonight,
No reindeer shall take flight,
Snow will also never fall,
As there’s only bush that surrounds us all.
But Santa shall come in a truck,
A rusty old ute that is covered in muck,
With the brown old sack full of presents in the boot,
Instead of HO HO Santa says Beaut.
Instead of reindeer, Kangaroos take place,
As they fly at a bouncy sort of pace
Instead of milk that Santa desires,
Beer is laid out in front of the fires.
Santa wears Pants and a T-shirt too,
He wears thongs and there’s a Aussie hat for Roo
As Santa ends his trip, they hop in the ute and fly,
Now to America, So….
GOODBYE!!
