We were friends from the start, we had always been inseparable.
I thought nothing could break us apart, but then you came and said,
“I have to leave, goodbye.” At that moment, my world shattered.
I could not believe my first and best friend was leaving.
All the fun times we had, soon there would be no more.
The promises we made, will no longer mean anything.
‘We’ will be no more, there would only be you and I.
Our paths may never cross again,
But the memories we share will remain.
Let them forever remain as a reminder
Of our once beautiful friendship.
These are my last words too you, my old friend.
Never forget me, and I would not forget you.
Goodbye now,
Let’s treasure and remember our friendship.
Goodbye, my friend.
