Darkness To Light

Storm brewing in the night,
First drops pierce like ice.
Then comes the lighting, burning all life,
The thunder roars with the strife.
Will we survive this evil sin?
Will there be any hope within?
A little girl takes up the plate.
She shows love, compassion,
Breaks through the hate.
And in the distance, I see the first rays of sun.
Shattering through the turmoil,
Ripping apart the clouds.
And suddenly everything becomes clear.
Showing the love, taking away the fear.
For we’ve realised God’s love is greater,
Than anything!
