Journey To Heaven

im standing alone in a corridor
searching for something more
bright lights will lead the way
its what everybody use to say
i cant seem to find the light
darkness fills the room tonight
theres nothing i can say or do
to bring myself forward to you
heavenly voices i do hear
i cant believe it i must be near
to that large and golden gate
where i have to go cause its my fate
everything goes red and i cant see
theres no path in front of me
then something is pulling me down
i jump up and i turn around
i escaped their well tight grip
and my stomach starts to give a flip
i feel something in the air
something that i know is there
i close my eyes and i day dream
of what heaven would seem to be
i get a feeling to start to run
i think my journeys almost done
i picked up my feet and i ran
the distance as fast as i can
i see and hear some lovely birds
and a heavenly angel speaking words
i see that big golden gate
i take another step towards my fate
it opens up just for me
i take a look around and guess what i see...................................
