Construction began today,
On the Mooloolaba new summer residence,
The location couldn’t be better,
Endless views of the sea.
There’s high walls to keep the enemies out,
Tall towers to keep the princess safe,
High ceilings for the guests to admire,
A magnificent throne for his majesty.
The work is tough,
But we slave on through the heat,
Slowly the structure takes form,
And our efforts seem necessary.
We take a break for lunch,
Sitting in the shade,
Laughing at each others stories.
We return to the site only to find,
The sea has swallowed our beauty.
We are very upset, but we soon move on,
We will start again tomorrow.
