Wait For Me

There’s a place where gold and ruby leaves
Still dance on an autumn’s day;
There’s a place where a sapphire breeze
Still soaring on a summer’s day;
Perhaps someday we’ll reunite
To once again live in this freedom.

If we had faced our poisonous fears;
They wouldn’t have crept back into our lives,
To ruin the little moment we had left.
But now you are gone
And I am here lost and alone,
Will you wait for me?
