Finalist in the 'Empowered 2008' competition
Thy tigers jaw and fulgurating claw,
Hath displayed thy carnivorous nature.
Eyes of flame, beautiful sleek stripes that awe,
Frozen by fear of thy gorgeous creature.
Immature childhood, the era of learning,
Brimful of excitement and merriment.
Is turned from merriment to surviving,
As the games taught young are deadly intent.
Hidden from sight, prey dancing at play,
Thoughts of hunger hover over thy mind.
With a slash of a claw, thou hath caught thy prey,
No mercy was felt, hunger turned thy eyes blind.
Though death takes its toll thy soul willstill stay,
Amongus though thy body hath passed away.
