Going Camping

We were camping on our block
We were as quiet as can be
There was grass all around us
As far as the eye could see
There were three of us there
Thorburn, Doug and me
There was no one else around
No one else for company
Then I needed to pee
I needed to do it bad
And if I wet myself
I would feel very sad
I finally found a spot
A spot to take a pee
But as I pulled down my zipper
A snake jumped out at me
It bit me on the leg
I cried out in pain
Then Thorburn came along
And hit it with some cane
Then a kangaroo
Came at us like a thug
And then it started punching
And kicking me and Doug
The Royal Flying Doctors Service
Came just in time
And like all true Australians
Didn’t even expect a dime
They flew me off to hospital
Thorbs and Doug were there
But after getting bitten
I didn’t really care
When I got to hospital
They gave me the anti-venom
But when I woke up again
I was sitting up in heaven
