As my feet sink into the white foaming water.
I watch my colourful toys disappear into the warm bubbly water.
A bubble bursts and makes a small POP.
The other bubbles fight to take its place.
Angus is waiting to hop in but I am taking my time.
Dad is making a delicious tea.
I can smell the yummy corn beef cooking in the oven.
The bubbles are making castles.
Some by me, others by themselves.
Toy boats are filling with water.
And then sinking down to join the rest.
Toy Polly Pockets are dragged up and down the bath.
My feet sink to the bottom of the bath.
I see two bubbles float out of the water.
A big one and a small one.
A rubber duck sways with the water.
Then glides back again.
I lift my feet out of the water.
I can still feel the bubbles popping on my leg.
Mum calls me for tea.
The bath is still steaming hot.
I pull the plug and say good bye to all the toys I will be back.
When I get dirty again.
