As I fall off the gymnastics beam,
I watch the others do their floor routine.
Another girl falls just like me,
It is very sad.
People think it’s very funny,
Others don’t even look.
Little kids are playing with the baby toys,
Some people think it’s easy.
The toddlers come and annoy people all the time,
Most of the time they annoy.
Kids practise and practise,
I get back on the beam,
I see kids training even more.
Girls and boys,
A girl does it perfectly,
Then she shows everyone.
I do the routine on the beam again,
I still know I am the best, especially at beam,
My teacher calls me back to demonstrate to the class some things,
“It’s break time,” she said.
I could smell the sandwich.
