Rainforest
Trees, giant umbrellas, sheltering us from the sun’s warmth
The atmosphere of small dark cave, dank, dark and misty
Mud is like slimey, soft goo, oozing and walloping along the ground
Wildlife, sharp needles, piercing and watching one’s every move
Eagles are royal kings, reigning over the sky
Water crashing on rocks, tumbling down the waterfall
Monkeys, just like bouncing balls, jumping from tree to tree
Jaguars, speeding bullets, darting from one place to another
Snakes are slithering, sneaky thieves, slippery, sly and cunning
Roots of fearsome monsters, sprawling their hands under one’s feet
Birds with deafening sirens, echoing through the trees
Frogs, floating balloons with their mouths puffing in and out
Colourful plant life in a leprechaun’s land, shades of green
Water droplets clinging like squishy caterpillars, sticking moistly to leaves
A Rainforest, like a flowing creek, a calm and peaceful place on earth
