May it never be forgotten,
They endured the rough of Gallipoli
And stood tall and proud

For it was Australia
They were defending.

They left their families behind
But did it for a cause

The mateship of those men
May it never be forgotten,
True Blue Aussie through and through,
Joking with their mates

Creating the identity
Australia is proud to have

The mateship of those men
May it never be forgotten,
Thank you to those who fought
For we live now in freedom.
