A gift from heaven falls through my sky and lands gracefully at my feet
An angel soars from the wrapping; a friend stands in front of me
You give me words that show hope; you give me smiles that show the sun
You give me trust, and you always know when my world is black rolls of thunder.
Your caring heart keeps mine intact, your beautiful soul does not lack
The nature of a brilliant friend, the brilliance of a helpful hand.
And you are always there, your shoulder as my pillow
And you are always there, when hope in life is shallow.
A gift from heaven has fallen, remarkably landed in front of me
Such a miracle could never be taken away from me.
I’ll always have you in my heart, a caring soul who lifts me up
And no one can tear this friendship apart
I’ll always remember your shining smile that takes me back to the heavens
My life is so worthwhile; because you are here, an angel
A friend who mends my heart
Because you stand here, a helping hand, a miraculous gift from heaven.
