The earth is sucked dry, the land is parched.
We stand at the edge of humanity wondering what to do next.
With the veins of our mother earth sucked dry we are left stranded, struggling.
We still feel the wind in our hair, but the rustling of the leaves never follow.
We still feel accomplished but the love and devotion has been desiccated from the human race.
With no way to turn back the clock, there is nothing we can do.
We should have listened.
It’s everywhere you look.
Our nation. Our world. Has been dried out.
