I'm sitting in the darkness not knowing what to say, thinking of you, dreading the next day.
There are only two things I can think of, but they may not be true.
I took my pen and wrote it down, dear Evie I'm safe and well.
I'm sitting in the bunker, I can hear the bombers coming over head. But it's not very pleasant to be dodging lumps of lead. So I took out my letter and wrote it down, tell Holly I'm safe and well.
The food may be yuck and the water pretty bad, this place is driving me mad. There's only one thing I can think of before I get on the plane. Dear Sophie I'm safe and well.
