Darling, Poppit, Deary, I can see
Descendant from a British colony
Sipping on a floral cup of tea
Drooling over dear Mr. Darcy
Are we… are we… are we…
Aoh! ‘Arry Potter, James Bond, brought to us by the Pom,
Keira Knightly, punk, & QUEEN, and all that’s British in between.
Welly’s, Spice Girls, Beckham’s foot,
The English language that we took.
Here we are, Oz standing lone.
In the start it was our home.
Britain, Little Great Britain, UK, England, the Land of Pom.
Britain, wonderful Britain; the place where Australia hailed from.
Captain Cook, Shakespeare, there the ones who got us here.
Little Lizzy on her throne, looking over our old home.
Scottish Highlands OI OI OI!
Chilling with James Mcavoy.
British culture, British ties,
It all lives in our Aussie eyes.
England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales..
Our lives are written,
In their sails.
Scotland, Ireland, Wales, and England.
Yes it’s our homeland.
Good old England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland!
Britain, Little Great Britain, UK, England, the Land of Pom.
Britain, wonderful Britain; the place where Australia hailed from.
