Rain gushes over moss covered ground,
Unusual animals rushing for home,
So many unexplained things to be found,
So many emotions surrounding me,yet I'm alone.
The whispering wind distracts me away from the rain,
I notice electric blue butterflies flutter past,
But suddenly I feel a sharp pain,
I have been stung by a sting tree,The pain is vast.
The forest is forbidding, but I am curious to know,
What other mysterious creatures live here,
I hike past ancient trees, the wind starts to blow,
I still have one particular fear,
That fear stops me, I retreat,
Past all those mystifying things,my heart starts to beat.
