Coming along is the May Breeze,
Gentle winds that do as they please.
Breezes blowing in the month of May,
Swishing and swaying as they play.
Coming along with it is a sweet sound,
Playing beautiful music as it comes around.
Sometimes soft and sometimes loud,
Applauded by an invisible crowd.
Flowing softly to a bed of water,
All is peace, there is no slaughter.
That was then, but this is now,
In this time trees no longer bow.
For they are being turned into wood chips,
People watch it fall, and watch it slip.
Slip away from nature’s hand,
Away and into that of man.
Why do we do this to beauty around us?
Why do we do this to nature to please us?
Think about clouds of smoke,
It destroys forests because of mans provoke.
Think about blue water turned brown,
Caused by pollution and rubbish mounds.
Think about the May Breezes,
No longer able to do as it pleases.
