Finalist in the 'World of Words 2009' competition
Orange, red, gold and brown,
Tossing, turning, on the ground.
Blowing here and blowing there,
With sweet endulgments in the air.
Floating down from great heights,
Softly landing from a downward flight.
Lying on the earths floor all night and all day,
Waiting for the wind to come and take them away.
Cradeled by the whispering breeze,
Flying in a trail below my knees.
Autumn comes once a year,
You might as well enjoy it while its here.
